Description

Some of the music is quite light (Baccara / Boney M / Pilot) but there are also some stone cold classics from Blondie, T-Rex, 10cc and Sweet. Pop-Disco crossover hits from Marshall Hain, Patsy Gallant and Dollar feature, along with the smooth soul of ‘Rock Your Baby’ from George McCrae - and there’s still room for Jigsaw (‘Sky High’), Pilot (‘Magic’) and the No. My only reason for not giving 5 stars, as is happening quite often, the manufacturers are including re-recordings of the hits, not original releases .

The only thing is that they use the good 12" Disco Remix of Relight My Fire (6:46) from 1980 and not the great original mix with the long intro of Loleatta Holloway: Vertigo / Relight My Fire (9:44) from 1979, mixed by John Luongo. Its material "includes crude productions shot with handheld digital video cameras," [1] and helps new musicians attract attention and build a fan base. Another massive, rarely played today hit is David Soul's "Silver Lady", and any compilation that includes the wonderful "Silly Games" by Janet Kay, the one-hit wonders Marshall Hain with their Rhodes piano driven "Dancing In The City", plus a song that sound-tracked my childhood, Mungo Jerry's "In The Summertime", is doing ok by me. from Manhattan Transfer with ‘Chanson D’Amour’, Simon Park Orchestra with ‘Eye Level’, ‘I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing (In Perfect Harmony)’ from The New Seekers, and starting off with the sublime ‘Forever And Ever’ from Demis Roussos. Many artists have expressed their loyalty to the channel in their lyrics; for example, in Lady Sovereign's " 9 to 5", "Channel who?Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. The collection closes with three of the greatest anthems to evolve from the collision of amazing Soul vocals and a Disco dance-floor: Diana Ross with the 12” Version of ‘Love Hangover’, Gloria Gaynor’s timeless ‘I Will Survive’, and signing off with ‘Don’t Leave Me This Way’ with the legendary vocals of Thelma Houston. Rewind to a time of big hair, outrageous makeup and platform shoes… NOW 70s Glam Pop is a 4-disc compilation features the greatest gems of this genre, including Queen, Abba, Wizzard and many more!

The TV series ran for six episodes and focused on the misadventures of three young MCs trying to break into the music game, but often ending up worse off than when they started. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others.
