It's a lovely gentle read and I found this was a book that held my children's attention most at bedtime. He has collaborated with Khayaal Theatre on the collection of funny Islamic folktales 'Riding a Donkey Backwards', and with the ecologist Alex Morss on the nature books 'WINTER SLEEP', 'BUSY SPRING', 'WILD SUMMER' and 'FUNNY BUMS FREAKY BEAKS AND OTHER INCREDIBLE CREATURE FEATURES'. I really liked Emily Hughes' facings - the young bear is so cute with his 'almost curly' fur, the forest scenes with a red/orange sky quite beautiful. The support and communication we have received from Jon, Luke and Andy at Brave Bear has been top-tier.
