The reason is that the edge of a serrated knife is, in general, not enhanced with a 15 or 20-degree angle and you cannot change the angle of a serrated knife. Horl got in contact recently and asked if I would be interested in trying their knife sharpening product.

Next, remove the knife, flip the magnet around and attach the knife so the other side of the blade is facing out. Horl also offers a number of video tutorials to help you when using the product for the first time but it really is very easy. After your knife has adapted to the angle, how long you sharpen depends on the dullness of your knife—we recommend up to 10 repetitions for very dull knives on the coarse sharpening stone, followed by a similar amount on the honing stone. For this review I’m using the HORL 2 along with two optional extras, the storage block, and the premium sharpening kit with its finer grit stones and leather strop.
