About this deal

The reveal of the villain and the ending of the book is a little far-fetched, but I still enjoyed it. I thought I had figured out the twist early on (which was actually less convoluted than what ended up happening) but I was wrong.

I think the synopsis says it all. There are three points of view being told by Bill, Karla, and Jennika. I really liked the narrators too, Josh Dylan, Sofia Engstrand, and Nathalie Buscombe have authentic accents and it was nice to have the actual pronunciations of places and names. The hymen is a membrane of tissue that covers the external vaginal opening. Not all females have a hymen, however. Lee M, Dalpiaz A, Schwamb R, Miao Y, Waltzer W, Khan A. Clinical pathology of Bartholin’s glands: A review of the literature. Curr Urol. 2015;8(1):22-25. doi:10.1159/000365683 The book begins with the discovery of the dead bodies of the Rytters, a wealthy married couple. The story of how they died is then told from a few police interviews and the alternating points of view of three characters. Bill is an unemployed widower raising his nine year old daughter Sally. To pay his mounting expenses, Bill takes in a boarder, Karla, a student who works part time as a cleaner for the Rytters. She begins to learn their secrets. Jennica was a school friend of Bill’s wife and also has a connection to the Rytters. Both Bill and Karla have a lot of financial and family problems. I would have thought that Sweden has more of a social safety net for such things, but I guess I was wrong. Jennica was an unlikeable character, especially at the end of the book.If a fertilized egg implants in the fallopian tube, doctors call this an ectopic pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy is a medical emergency because the fallopian tube can rupture. Hymen

Males and females have different sex organs. In fact, the genitals are the main parts of the human body that make men and women different. This second title focuses solely on life in the largest women’s prison in Europe. Holding 527 inmates, it is accurately described by the author as looking like “an ugly leisure centre”. Brown is not the first doctor to write a memoir, as Rachel Clarke’s Dear Life and Atul Gawande’s Being Mortal attest. But where those books feature searing prose, Brown’s style is prosaic. Of her hugely taxing job, she says: “It kept me on my toes.” However, her compassion and commitment shine through.

Uterus: The uterus is located in the lower belly area between the hips (pelvis), through the vagina just past the cervix. It's also called the womb. The uterus is where a fetus develops during pregnancy. The uterus has three layers of muscle and is one of the strongest muscles in the body. The story begins with Daisey Garrett at an after-work party thing that she really isn't enjoying and would much rather be curled up on the couch at home binge watching something more appealing on Netflix. She gets a little inebriated in the wake of her ex-fiance having run off with a younger woman, a former student of his no less. But that of course didn't stop Luke from coming around earlier for a little stroll down memory lane across the kitchen table. A couple of her colle There were some parts that were hard to believe, but nothing significant enough to affect my enjoyment. The short chapters interspersed with police interviews made this a breezy yet gripping read. Also, the author's note is awesome LOL best final line ever. This is the 4th instalment in the Detective Dan Riley series. I am happy to say it is still going strong for me and I really like him as a character. He does not always follow the rules but it is always in the best interests of the case and he is not a people pleaser. What gets him by is his instincts and famous gut feelings

The mons is the fleshy mound above your vulva. After puberty, it’s covered with pubic hair. It cushions your pubic bone. I just spent the last 7 days with Anna-Lou Weatherley, narrator James Lailey, and DI Dan Riley (virtually), and it was an out-of-body experience. It’s sometimes called the womb because it’s where a fetus grows during pregnancy. During sexual arousal, the lower part of your uterus lifts toward your belly button. That’s why your vagina gets longer when you’re turned on. It’s called “tenting.” Make sure your hands are clean or that you’re wearing sterile gloves. Be mindful of your fingernails.
