About this deal

He wasn’t supposed to be there when I fell. I wasn’t supposed to get lost in a sea of sapphire blue when he helped me up. And he wasn’t supposed to be Alexander Stone, the New York billionaire real estate tycoon. Before I begin my review I want to share that I have NEVER read this author before, nothing from her and this is a 2nd generation series. It stars Ethan Stone who is the son of the first series. Ethan is a playboy photographer and he meets Summer on a job. She is running the photo shoot as she is an editor assistant of a magazine. C.E. Murphy is one of the highly famous authors from The United States, who likes to write her books based on the romance, science fiction, and fantasy genres. She is particularly renowned for writing the widely successful Walker Papers series, Inheritor’s Cycle series, The Strongbox Chronicles, and The Negotiator Trilogy series. In addition to using her original name for writing her books, author Murphy also uses the pen name Cate Dermody for writing some of her novels. Her writing career also consists of writing a graphic novel called Take A Chance. Author Murphy was born on June 01, 1973 in Kenai, Alaska, The United States. Apart from writing the fantasy and science fiction books, she is also credited for writing several comic books and short stories. In one of her interviews, author Murphy has stated that the pseudonym Cate Dermody is the maiden name of her grandmother. Currently, she resides in the ancestral homeland located in Ireland. Along with writing books, author Murphy was also involved in a number of other jobs such as archival assistant, web designer, library volunteer, and cannery worker. However, she maintains that writing novels is her most favorite and primary hobby. Author Murphy began her writing career in the year 2005 and released her debut book in the same year, which was published under the title of Urban Shaman. Since then, she has gone on to write various other novels based on a wide range of genres. It was at the age of 6 that author Murphy began writing. At that time, she used to write only stories and poems, which used to get published in her school’s publication.

The plot initially seemed to have many parallels to fifty shades of grey. I loved fifty shades, but in at least the 1st book, I would have liked there to have not been as many parallels. Everyone who caught a glimpse of it marveled at its condition, for nearly a millennium of exposure to the elements had smoothed away remarkably few of the details that made it such an impressive work of art. The museum's director had supposedly gloated for weeks after acquiring it a couple of years ago, and frankly, Ella couldn't blame him. Summer is sweet, hardworking, reliable, lonely and caring. She isn’t sure what her life is going to be like when she loses her job, but she will get help from someone unexpected. Summer likes Ethan a lot and she loves spending time with him. She still tries to protect her heart a little, so I understood some of her decisions. I adored Summer and Ethan together! I read this book in one sitting because I HAD to know what happened to my friend Rem, but also because this is edge-of-your-seat storytelling. And if you have any emotional investment in these characters or this story, you simply cannot quit it.

Publication Order of Old Races Short Stories/Novellas

Five minutes after the last guest of the Friday evening fund-raising gala had exited the front doors of Georgia House, the historic building that housed the main museum gallery, Ella gave in to the pressure she'd felt building all through the evening. She rolled her eyes, blew a raspberry, and thumbed her nose simultaneously. It was childish of her, but satisfying. Basically, this series is a whole trip and each book has put me through the wringer, but (heaven help me) each one has been worth it. And this last one? The one that wraps up our time with Rem and Eve and Booker and Burke and Shelby and Arthur and all the cold cases and that one truly awful bad person? It is *chef's kiss* perfection. This is how it's done, folks. Suppressing the slight, irrational discomfort the man's presence always inspired, she lifted her chin and pasted on her best professional smile—the one with no actual warmth anywhere near it.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters are each holding secrets that prevent them from looking for a full committed relationship. However, once Alex and Krystina begin their arrangement the chemistry between them is too much to ignore and they begin to sink into a deeper intimacy. You guys, do NOT miss this story... this series! It's incredible and will always be one of my all time favorites!! I have listened to this audible for the Audiobook Obsession group and the Author Dakota Willink thank you. I listened to this in the box set which was nice not having to wait for each installment.Ella Harrow fully supported the notion that people with excessive amounts of money should donate large sums of it to worthy causes, and she counted her employer—the Vancouver Museum of Art and History—as among the worthiest. She just wished the donors would hand over the cash without wanting to talk to her first. Although this book is reminiscent of others currently on the market, the writing style makes it an altogether refreshing change. There is a developing story which made me warm to the main characters immediately and with their connection came a special story which underpinned the essence of the book.

Otherwise, I actually loved this couple. They were like my jam. I like sweet heroines who are soft in character (not weak doormats) and heroes who want to protect and provide for the heroine. I found both of these with Krystina and Alexander. I enjoyed that what Alex initially meant to be an occasional thing a few nights a week suddenly became a need to have her with him always. That right there…more jam.

With people all around her, she could never predict what might happen, and the constant tension of holding on to her self-control made her head pound and her nerves fray. Being an antisocial hermit just made life easier.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”Tristan and Nina are great parents to ther kids and I like it how they have become even better people than they were. Hence, all the ribbing she took about being in love with Sir Arthur. The comments might have bothered her, if she hadn't dated infinitely worse male specimens.
